This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and luggage storage space. The bed and breakfast provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Comfortable house close to the cliffs of Slieve League. An excellent starting point for hiking in beautiful nature. The room was well equipped and clean, the hosts friendly and helpful with useful information regarding the late afternoon hike to the cliffs. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything.

Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. This property is the most beautiful, majestic space with breathtaking architecture. It is nestled into a hill with views of The Burren and the sound of flowing water is around every corner. There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!
