The view across Sorrento to Mount Vesuvius was breathtaking. They provided an excellent breakfast that suited everyones taste. They also provided a great choice of evening meals. Even though the hotel was high above Sorrento it did not mean that you were isolated as the hotel provided a shuttle bus, which operated regularly; early enough to meet any early tours; late enough to enjoy a night out without rushing to meet the shuttle.

Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. the view was like a painting, the staff was very receptive, the breakfast was very very good
