But once we knew we had to walk through the water to get there, we actually enjoyed the little adventure :) we travelled with our two children (5 and 7 years old). Christian (hotel owner) was amazing - he was so flexible with a late checkout and helped us reserve a cab for our ferry home. The room was clean and had a beautiful ocean view and a well-working AC. The pictures do not do it justice!!! The views overlooking the Castello Aragonese, Naples and Capri and Mt. Vesuvius, from this hilltop retreat are absolutely spectacular. The outdoor space was well-groomed and decorated with meticulous attention to detail. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hearty breakfast buffet included homemade cakes and pastries, fresh bread, tomatoes, cheese, salami, fresh fruits, yogurt and even fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs (upon request). Carlo was an incredible host and made us feel welcome from the moment he greeted us. He always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and were well cared for. He offered us invaluable tips on places to visit in Ischia, helped us make transportation arrangements. The staff at Relais Bijoux was equally warm, friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, tranquil oasis and will definitely return.

It's location just gorgeous, the garden is very well maintained (mediterran feeling), the bed was ultra comfy. There are 3 beautiful pool. The breakfast was just perfect, scrambled eggs, hams, also plenty of sweet things, you can make your own freshly squeezed orange juice. It's located close to one of our best beach on the island.

Set 2 km from the centre of Forio, on the island of Ischia, Hotel Villa Cimmentorosso offers rooms with a hydromassage shower and sea-view balcony. To start with basic information, cleanliness is 10/10 service 10/10, comfortability 10/10, location 10/10. View 10/10. If you have time to read the rest of my experience it’s below. It’s not just a place to sleep in but rather to experience. This accommodation is filled with lots of love from the family running it. I never stay In my hotels when I travel but this place has so much Italian energy that it makes you settle in comfortably. The place is surrounded by lots of vegetables like tomato, zucchini, fruits and they serve them for breakfast, from home made jams, and omg the best tomato I ever had in my life! Sun sets are really really nice from there. Balcony or pool area or directly from your room. The only hesitation I have is I didn’t stay here for 7 days to fully immerse in this wonderful place. Highly recommended and it should be a stop for everyone who wants to experience a true italian hospitality. 10/10

Guests can also relax in the garden, beside the outdoor pool. We had the most amazing stay at Villa Ravino Secret Retreat. From the beautiful architecture of the villa, the art and sculptures, to the truly amazing gardens of Ravino Gardens, it was a real calm oasis to return to every day. We are so thankful we found this green travel paradise and we loved our dinners, breakfast and drinks at the villas Cafe cactus within the villas gardens. All the villa staff were so kind and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Ischia is such a great island with so much to see and do, but villa ravino and its gardens was incredible. Its a long way from Australia but we will definitely be back one day.
