Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast, a garden and free WiFi in all rooms. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Monterosso! The location is absolutely perfect - just a short walk from the train station, directly opposite the beach, and within easy walking distance to the town center. It made getting around so convenient. The staff was fantastic - so warm, friendly, and full of great local suggestions that really helped us make the most of our visit. The breakfast each morning was pretty good, too. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Honestly, everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monterosso!

Parking is free. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the location is truly incredible. The staff were extremely welcoming and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights is the convenient shuttle bus that runs every hour, taking you down from the mountain and back up again – such a great service and a big plus for this place. The hotel itself is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment. The only small thing – and it’s not really a minus – is that it would be amazing if the hotel had a swimming pool. With such stunning views, relaxing in a pool would be the ultimate experience. Overall, the hotel is amazing, everything was perfect, and we would love to come back again!

Room and premises were very clean with all the right necessities. Good strong shower and hair blower which was greatly appreciated and good recommendations for dinner. I had some difficulty with the approximately 30 steps as the apt was on top floor, but I managed and Giorgio was very helpful in bringing up my suitcase. Location of building was perfect, very central and easy to find. After visiting all the villages, I was very happy I chose Monterosso as our home base because it had the greatest amenities, great restaurants, beautiful churches, the largest of the villages, a nice beach with umbrellas and above all, it is not hilly! We parked in the Loretta carpark, arrived at 4 pm and 3 spots were available. We stayed 2 nights and visited all the villages in one day by express train which I highly recommend as trains pass every 20 min. We bought the train pass, 18 E for the day at the ticket office by the train station. Overall a fabulous 2 days and a very satisfactory stay at Marianna Quiet Rooms.

Highly recommended!
