It is the best homestay I have stayed in Sri Lanka in, during my vacation. The room and bashroom are spontaneously clean. The bed smells clean and it is comfortable. It has a mosquito net. There are sockets close to the bed for charging. All amenities from fridge, new hear dryer, new kettle, clothes hanger and nail cutter were available in the room. My room (in the ground floor) had a small space in front of it with chairs and table for enjoying the cool fresh air during the night and the morning ( to enjoy breakfast even more). The breakfast was big and with lots of variety to keep you full for a long time.The hosts speak good English and are very informative. I really enjoyed talking to the family and they were really helpful in answering my questions and arranging transportation at reasonable price.

The view from our terrace was breathtaking! We enjoyed our breakfasts very much here! The breakfast itself was great, they also gave us a variety of less common fruits to try (aside from the usual fruits everyone else gives you) which was great! They also offer tea at any time on the terrace which was lovely. They can also make dinner for you but we didn't have the chance to try that. The guest house is very close to the starting point for the Ella Rock hike (100% recommend you do this btw). We asked our host to recommend a guide for this since many sources say you need a guide for Ella rock - however instead of using this as an opportunity to make some money off of us, he gave us a point by point guide on maps on how to do this hike alone which is what we preferred. You can also walk to the town using the train tracks, it takes around an hour and is so much fun! Definitely ask for the way and do it!

The room was clean. Janith is an amazing host, willing to help with everything. He organized a tuk tuk for me, with good prices, served me the most delicious breakfast on the balcony and even helped me when I got a leech bite after hiking. Thank you! The accommodation is a good location, just a few minutes walk to the center.

The accommodation offers room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. We had the perfect stay at Lavendra Paradise. The property is a short walk from the lively Ella and the hill is a little steep coming up but easily managed for a young couple. Our room was very comfortable and clean, plenty of space and amenities. The porch area looking on to the mountains was the perfect spot to relax and was perfectly sheltered when there was a downpour of rain so we still got to enjoy being outside. The breakfast was our best in Sri Lanka - Shan's wife cut no corners in preparing a fresh, Sri Lankan breakfast for us each day and when we had a very early check out on our last morning even prepared us a delicious meal to take away with us. Shan and the others couldn't do enough for you throughout the stay and were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Ella!

Everything was perfect : the location was a bit out of the center town, but not too far, which was great because it was calm with a beautiful 😍 The family was very welcoming, thoughtful and kind ! The room was very nice and very clean with a balcony with a view on the mountains and the waterfall. Very good breakfast directly brought to your balcony. We could rent the motorbike directly to the family which was very convenient and cheaper than in town. You can't go wrong by choosing this place !
