This guest house is situated within Rabat’s medina and only 500 metres from the Kasbah des Oudaias. It offers 24-hour reception and air-conditioned guest rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi access. We spent 4 weeks in many riads in Marocco and this one was among the best. Typically riads are quite dark and have no/small windows. Dar Karima was different.

The hotel represents a very high value for money. The service is top-notch. The staff was attentive and helpful, even arranging for our laundry to be done which took less than 24 hours. The breakfasts are large and hearty. The location is perfect, close to everything while being outside the business of the Medina. It’s very safe and quiet although if you are sensitive to noise, please note that the windows are original (not double-glazed) and help to block some sounds but not all. We stayed in Room 306 which is one of the few rooms that has a sitting area with a full view of the ocean and the Kasbah. The bathroom is large and there is ample hot water. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.
