The staff is super friendly and supportive, their hospitality is amazing. We had a welcome coffee with cookies and fruits on arrival. The breakfast is served in a nice roof-top terrace.

The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the daily yoga sessions offered at the hotel. Practicing yoga in such a serene and sacred setting felt like reconnecting to our roots—truly grounding and revitalizing. We are deeply grateful for the experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious, soulful, and culturally rich stay in Kathmandu. Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. We had great stay. Rooms specious, location is perfect, only 8 minutes to Stupa. Quite neighborhood. Hotel and rooms very clean. Breakfast delicious and service during breakfast 5 star.

Karma Boutique Hotel features free WiFi, parking and 24 hour front desk. The staff is very friendly. My friend did not realize that he left his bags in the hotel lobby when we headed to the airport. The hotel staff chased the taxi with his motorcycle to deliver the bags to us. We couldn’t thank him more.. The rooms were clean and nice with proper wet/dry area in the bathroom. You don’t see this that often in this type of boutique hotels in Nepal that often. We stayed in Kathmandu 5 nights and only stayed in this hotel one night. I wish I had stayed there more nights.
