The very best location when exploring the old town of Patan. The hotel is situated in a small street and it is not noisy at all during night time. Impressive authentic interrior within the whole building. Our room was very cozy and comfortable - with hot water, all hygiene items. The owner even let us choose a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and supportive, their hospitality is amazing. We had a welcome coffee with cookies and fruits on arrival. The breakfast is served in a nice roof-top terrace.

For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. I recently stayed at the Apsara Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu and was thoroughly impressed. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time there and were impressed with the high level of service. A special shoutout to Santosh, who went above and beyond in helping us with booking tours. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend the Apsara Boutique Hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. Everything was great, especially the helpful staffs. The building itself is amazing and well-maintained. It’s so lucky to stay in a such magical place.

Practicing yoga in such a serene and sacred setting felt like reconnecting to our roots—truly grounding and revitalizing. We are deeply grateful for the experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious, soulful, and culturally rich stay in Kathmandu. Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. Very welcoming and peaceful Tibetan Buddhist hotel. Lovely rooms, prayer flags flying, sound bowls in the room, gated entrance, prayer wheels, great indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant, beautiful potted plants, yoga and spa including sound healing. Handy to both Bouddha Stupa and Phulbari Monastery. I easily walked to both (Stupa is closer).

Karma Boutique Hotel is set in the Thamel district in Kathmandu, 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka. Guests are offered the on-site restaurant. Karma Boutique Hotel features free WiFi, parking and 24 hour front desk. The staff is very friendly. My friend did not realize that he left his bags in the hotel lobby when we headed to the airport. The hotel staff chased the taxi with his motorcycle to deliver the bags to us. We couldn’t thank him more.. The rooms were clean and nice with proper wet/dry area in the bathroom. You don’t see this that often in this type of boutique hotels in Nepal that often. We stayed in Kathmandu 5 nights and only stayed in this hotel one night. I wish I had stayed there more nights.
