Situated in Oslob, a few steps from Lagunde Beach, ISLET VIEW Pension House ( Formerly Island View Pension House ) features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. This 2-star inn offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. The inn has family rooms. Very kind and energic lady was runnig the pension house. She helped us to rent a scooter and make reservation to whale sharks watching. Room was simple but clean.

The bathrooms were open, fitted with chrome and you were also provided amenities. The pool was cleaned daily and the gardens surrounding were kept well. The villa is close enough to the centre requiring a 5 minute tuk tuk or the closest beach is only a 10-15 minute walk down the same road of the villa. There is a 7/11 at the top of the street also making it convenient for anything you may need. The staff were lovely, extremely accommodating and willing to help with tours, transport, late breakfast or early breakfast or anything else that may crop up.

I had an awesome week in my little bungalow. The private beach to go snorkeling is perfect, and staff really take care of it. At night it is quiet and the room is spacious and airco works well. The bathroom is a good size, and the shower is great. The matras is more on the older side, but still I slept really well. There is instant coffee in the room, and the mini fridge is filled with drinks. The breakfast buffet is basic, but it has everything you would want. In general, food on the island anywhere ranges from 'meeeeeeh' to 'urgh', so I enjoyed breakfast even more. There are a lot of steps to walk up and down, which might be a challenge for some. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay! Would recommend and I would come back!

Clean, modern and spacious. Great view of the city. Handy to and from the airport, just about 15-20 minutes taxi ride. Comfy beds. Great food at Uma Restaurant, we had dinner there at a reasonable price. They offer yummy complimentary breakfast buffet. The icing on the cake is the impeccable service. The staff were amazing-- very helpful, warm and welcoming. Won't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend to others.
