This was a character filled New England Guest House . Impeccably clean and with everything we could have needed including air conditioning. Lovely hospitable hostess Denise who gave us travel tips and made us a fantastic breakfast. The location was amazing for the Main bars, restaurants and shops in Newport- which was itself amazing to visit . We loved everything about it!

Built in the 1800s, Marshall Slocum Inn boasts its original architecture. Guests can relax on the large deck overlooking the gardens or the concierge desk can help arrange activities and reservations. This inn was perfect for us. First time visitors to Newport and the location was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and really helpful when it came to suggestions for places to visit or eat. Our room (the snuggery) was clean and inviting.. can't fault it at all. Was also a lovely atmosphere having fresh coffee and breakfast treats with other guests in the morning! Would recommend, and would definitely stay again if we are ever in Newport!
