The room was very modern and clean. Decor of the entire guesthouse was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Safe parking on premises. Great view of the mountains from the room balcony. Coffee station with daily rusks and fresh milk in the room. Breakfast was delicious with our own table set each morning. The hosts were warm and friendly and always made sure we are happy and comfortable. The hosts pay attention to detail and overall offer a great experience. Will definitely return.

It is set 2.5 km from Clarens Golf Club and features full-day security. The guest house features family rooms. Stacey warmly welcomed me to Upper House. I booked months in advance in anticipation of the Clarens Arts Festival. It was a fantastic location and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast was scrumptious and changed daily. Plenty of hot water for showering. The TV had all of the DSTV channels. Mini-fridge available in the room as well. There was a space heater and electric blankets to keep warm with at night. Stacey and the staff were so helpful in directing me to Clarens from my start location and helped transport me to the correct location on the road for taxis on my way out of town heading towards Lesotho. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and ensured I enjoyed my stay. Would absolutely stay again, Clarens is worth revisiting!
