The private onsen is worth a visit and the privacy was much appreciated. Futons were some of the best ones we've experienced on our trip. Room size was more than adequate and the interior (tatamis, bathroom, seating arrangement) on point. The provided Yukatas were decent. Loved the traditional dinner and breakfast and the experience of wearing yukatas everywhere, traditional Japanese public bathing facilities, the outdoor onsen after dinner where you can gaze up at the stars before falling asleep on futons in a tatami room. We really enjoyed the private onsen which we definitely made use of with our family, and the futon bed was extremely comfortable.
