The location was amazing, the staff was so super nice and the kayak tour was such a great experience. We would recommend this to everybody looking to in the area. It was a really nice place. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.

If you like slightly tired 50's or maybe 60's Onsen then this is the place for you - I do. A bit out of town but affordable 🚕 taxi ride. There is a courtesy bus & one of the staff organised that for me to get back into town.. You could probably organise pick up as well if you were organised. Dinner and breakfast were both great in very Onsen way. No western options and no choice. You get what they are serving. Normal in an Onsen. The baths have a great view.

A lovely experience. Friendly welcome, very helpful from the owner and his son. Room was large, comfortable, relaxing and very clean. We stayed half board for two nights and the food was magnificent. Nice baths. Went hiking in the hills one day, superb and took the ferry to the island the next and from there to Nagahama. Great trip.
