Breakfast was amazing and served on time each morning. The staff were very friendly and made the stay very comfortable. The futons and tatami mats were comfy to sleep on and the rooms are kept fairly warm with heating. Fresh tatami floors in our room and everything was well maintained or new. Friendly helpful staff. Good location - in the heart of the village and a short walk to Yu-road travelator to Hikage gondola (you can leave your ski gear overnight at the ski hire places there, so a bit of a walk to the ryokan is fine).
