I can not understand why this hotel is rated only 3 stars. It worth at least 4 and probably more. You get luxury, great service. very nice set on onsens, amazing dinner buffet, very nice spacious and comfortable room. 3 Min drive to enter Shiretoko.

The sunset view from my window astonishing, large room, great onsen, beautiful design common areas. Dinner was the best I had in Japan. I received a complementary crab 🦀 in the last night for the 3 nights stay.

Hotel Shiretoko is a little bit out of town but sing up high, the view was amazing. My room was huge and had a sofa and chairs for relaxing. The meals were amazing with numerous choices. Onsen area was spacious and the outside onsen with views of the stars was lovely

Quiet, simple and homely onsen hotel. There's a private outdoor onsen that required booking but it's free. There's also public onsen. Everyone was friendly and rooms are cozy. Lovely view outside hotel and lovely tempura dinner and breakfast.

Shiretoko Village was an excellent hotel. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese buffet style (called "Viking" in Japanese). The food was very good - and I am not a breakfast person usually! The room was also comfortable (4-person family room) and was in the annex building. The onsen was simple but perfect - a nice square area with two baths: a "colder" one (still very hot) and an (extremely) hot one. If you like hotel onsen and very hot baths, you will enjoy this one.

Amazing place up in the mountains, but actually just 20min walk from Utoro centre. The walk is very pleasant. There are foxes around the hostel that can be seen I loved my dorm and bed cabin. The common room is so cool, feels like a mountain cabin. And the natural onsen!!! Wow! I has been really perfect!

Quaint family run hotel full of charm and character. Our tatami room had a splendid seaview. Breakfast and dinners were such a treat to savour Japanese cuisine. Private onsen available. Absolutely love this hotel.

Very well located, at walking distance to Godzilla rock, 7 eleven, foot onsen. The Onsen was spaceous enough, clean facilities and you can also go for 500 yen private Onsen. The hotel has microwave, tea and water dispensers, shared bathrooms were clean and not crowded. Room was big, tatami was confortable. They provide yukatas. Breakfast was typical japanese, good one. There is small store inside the hotel to buy ramen and souvenirs.
