The tatami is comfortable and clean, the ceilings are low (my bf of 6ft hit his head on the beam a few times, that’s how authentic this is) - the staff keeps the tatami clean and is diligent about changing our futon sheets daily - they change out the yukata daily, too - breakfast is simple and nice. The hotel itself is not heated but you can heat your room. There was no breakfast but there is a conbini right near the hotel. On the first floor, there is a microwave and a water cooker. It's a ryokan, so you get a low futon and tatami mats on the floor. They also provide you with a yukata to wear indoors.
