Very nice ryokan. In addition to the two indoor public baths, there was a shuttle bus to an outdoor onsen 10 minutes away that was just fantastic, in the woods and on a small river. The room was very nice, the dinner was a fantastic kaiseki and also the breakfast was excellent.

It was quiet and comfortable. There was a wooden bathtub in the room, where I enjoyed a hot spring bath. The breakfast was delicious. In addition, there was a CD player and a few CDs in the room, which went very well with the tranquil evening atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay, clean and quiet room in this very unique old style building Comfortable beds, staff is adorable and well spoken in English Onsen is not in the hotel building but next to it, definitely worth you money to book it for 50 mins ! The ryokan is at a great place. Everything in Ureshino is in walking distance. (Which is helped by the fact that the entire town is quite small.) The room was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and had a lot of space. The public bath is also very clean and well maintained. The pools are comfortable, and the medicinal water is of high quality. The sauna is nothing special, but it is also decently made and maintained, and it is also not the main attraction anyway. The staff is very kind and really helpful when you reach out to them. The whole place is also very small and quiet, which is decent.
