We loved experiencing the traditional setting of the hotel. Every part of our stay felt special! The food was a real feast for both dinner and breakfast and we got to try lots of new and exciting Japanese dishes. The private onsen was relaxing and lovely and we overall had a wonderful stay!

To escape the pace of Tokyo arriving at the Futagojimsou hotel for the weekend in late September. There were only a few people on Friday it seems that Saturday night is the time local Japanese escape the city for the tranquility of the ocean. The hotel itself is from times gone by, yet clean and clean comfortable. The room views were spectacular, the waves lapping the shore at night was serene, the staff incredibly patient and polite. The dinner incredible best value, varied and delicious. Across the road the Bandoko Garden, a retreat for the afternoon was restful. Followed by the outdoor Onsen, facing the ocean. I can highly recommend a visit.
