Loved the atmosphere, service, rooms, baths, the personality of the staff, pretty much everything. We stayed in the Sakura room where there aren't private toilets or bath in the room itself, but it's right outside and extremely easy to access. We ate like kings at both breakfast and dinner - the meals felt like it was worth more than the price tag. We were lucky to have the public bath to ourselves as there weren't other guests there. Everyone (staff) at the hotel was kind and fun to talk to, and the staff accommodated all the requests that we asked for. Definitely coming back again

Nice experience in a high-end traditional Japanese hotel. We were the only western tourists. Very nice onsen with amazing "muddy bath". Delicious meals, very good buffet breakfast.

Everything! This is the best option in town for sure. Location 10, room 10, breakfast 10, attention at the frontdesk 10. We had a wonderful stay, the views from the room were spectacular and the room is traditional styled. They even set up the futons for us which was unexpected. Outdoors onsen views at night were wonderful. You can also book the boat tour for the cormoran fishing through at the reception, that was easy and helpful.

One of the best Japanese ryokans I've stayed in. Conveniently located near to Nagoya yet secluded enough to enjoy a couple of days away from the crowd. The private onsen rooms have a to die for view of Nagoya and everything is excellently run and with wonderfully attentive staff. The Yoro park is a bonus where you can enjoy nature walks.
