Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Loved three onsen. The outdoor one was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from the room were amazing. We wanted to stay more days!!

Wonderful hotel with excellent infrastructure, service, food and quality rooms! They offered a full dinning and breakfast experience that was unforgettable and top notch!

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site.

We loved the atmosphere and especially loved loved loved the vegetarian breakfast the chef prepared especially for us. It is definitely a highlight during out Japan Trip. Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Absolutely everything. Amazing value for money.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. So unique and pretty. Staff very kind on arrival.

The en suite bathroom comes with toiletries and a bathtub. The food was probably the best I had during our trip in Japan - if you stay in this Ryokan, I strongly advise you to take this option. Open air onsens were really nice and cosy. The Ryokan is really close to the train station, it was really easy to get there.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Everything about it. Helpful staff and beautiful hotel with excellent facilities.

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Simple but very affordable and tidy Ryokan.
