Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive from this property. The place was beautiful. My only regret is not taking the in-house breakfast and dinner.

The staffs were all super friendly and they took care of me and my family so well. And it was good that I could communicate with them in English quite well.

It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Great ryokan experience! Place has a beautiful ambiance. Lounge area was also quite nice. Private Onsen was an awesome experience!

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Originally developed as a lodging for the temples’ pilgrims, it conducts Buddhist services every morning that guests can attend. Nankai Koyasan Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.

Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room comes with a flat-screen TV and a seating area. A safety deposit box is also provided. Koyasan was my favorite place in our Japan trip. If You want authentic Japanese experience- this is the right place for You. Please plan Your day in Koyasan to get back to Saizenin ~ 17.00 for dinner.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The owner is very nice. We were droping by to the station by the owner. The place is near to everywhere. And love the outside onsen.

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eko-in. The whole experience was fantastic and we really enjoyed all of the activities offered by the temple staff. It was very clean and everything ran very smoothly. Would highly recommend the tour to the cemetery.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. The staff is super kind and helpful, the property is very pretty and everything is very typical. There are two onsens available for the guests (a male one and another for women) with very good conditions. We could opt from a japanese breakfast and a continental breakfast, so we chose the first one. Super complete and with a lot of dishes, if you haven’t tried and are ok with trying different food types, you definitely should go for the japanese breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
