Situated in Bodmin, 38 km from Port Isaac, Treganoon House, Lanlivery features a garden and free WiFi. Newquay is 34 km from Treganoon House, Lanlivery, while Padstow is 37 km from the property.

Lovely quiet, rural location in an old house. The room was very pleasant with a view of the garden. The grounds are a haven for nature with rabbits, wild plants and many bird species including a pair of barn owls. There's a lovely fruit and vegetable patch too, as well as several chickens who are quite happy to come and have a chat and may lay a nice egg for your breakfast. The hosts Sara and Kevin are fabulous and made us feel very welcome. All in all, an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

Boleyn house, hotel in Bodmin

Boleyn house is set in Bodmin, 32 km from Newquay Train Station, 11 km from Restormel Castle, as well as 16 km from Eden Project.

The apartment was spacious and airy. We stayed as a family of 4, with our 2 daughters who are 9 and 4. There was plenty of room for us all. The wet room is big, and the shower is powerful. Again, there is plenty of room. The apartment was clean and modern. Chris, the owner, was there to greet us on arrival and was very helpful throughout organising the booking and the stay itself.

A busy town and lots of traffic.

A busy town and lots of traffic. Worth exploring, but I didn't have the time, other than looking at the old jail. Good mid-way stopping point if travelling further into Cornwall. The hotel served a very good breakfast and the evening meal was well prepared: the lamb that I had was beautifully cooked. The options for puddings were mainly cake-based and personally, I found my meringue option a tad sweet (as one might expect) with no pouring cream to calm it down!

It’s looking tired but it’s the gateway to lots of other places. Plymouth is within reach maybe 40mins by car. The prison has the attraction of the museum with guided tours which are great fun The prison, now hotel is absolutely wonderful. Great gala night for new year with the best food ever. The Bodmin folk are so friendly and will advise on where to eat to suit your budget. The Eden project is a great trip to make even on a rainy day. Was visiting a sick relative in the hospital & hotel very convenient for that. Have always been in transit elsewhere so didn't know the town well. So attractive and clean. Very friendly people who readily helped direct or help in other ways. I have relatives who came from Probus and Devonshire so visited both counties from 1946 onwards and think changes by and large sensitive and well carried out. The beauty of the county and rural nature has been largely preserved and if controlled population increase measures are sympathetically controlled, the character of the county ought to be preserved along with its beauty.

A great experience, the renovation work is amazing throughout the hotel! We only stayed there for 1 night but we would have liked to have spend more time. Comfortable beds, and a great spacious bathroom. Great breakfast options. Would be great to have gluten free options in the room service menu.

By far the best 3 star hotel I’ve stayed in. I was working in Cornwall so I chose something different from the usual premier inn. Lovely staff and a smashing restaurant with beautiful views over the golf course. Very quiet, so refreshing not to have to listen to hotels doors banging all night . And next time we stay my nephew owes one of the ladies a lighter as we borrowed theirs and he forgot to return it. Also a big thanks to the staff who made us sausage sandwiches to take away with us as we had to leave before breakfast started.

We requested a disabled parking space, but as there are none, the owner kindly placed a cone to reserve a space for us. Without asking we were then allocated a room right by the parking space which was very much appreciated. We were welcomed on arrival and staff at breakfast were very cheery and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and provided all we needed and for once, lots of sachets of milk :) Bathroom was lovely and shower was easy to use. Good location - very close to Bodmin town centre and local pubs/restaurants.

Trevidgeowe Farm is an excellent location for visiting Bodmin and surrounding areas. A beautiful house where we spent 2 nights in a very spacious Delux King Room. Very comfortable bed, large Ensuite with double walk in shower all beautifully decorated. Excellant range of continental breakfast including homemade grenola and bread. Our first choice will be to stay here when we next visit cornwall in the summer. Emma your hostess will make you most welcome.

Lots of space. If you were staying a while you would easily be able to unpack properly. Good breakfast. Swimming pool available in summer. Very useful folder of information about the hotel and local area. Including the free Wi-Fi code - always appreciate not having to pay for Wi-Fi. Hotel is in an excellent location for accessing both north and south coast of Cornwall.

Excellent value for money and a great option versus booking a hotel room. Chris was available online to answer any questions ahead of our visit and the accomodation met our expectations. Bonus to have parking on site and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Will definitely book again if back in Bodmin on business.

Absolutely stunning hotel full of history. We were able to take our dog with us, dog friendly is an understatement! Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help you. Especially there was a lady who I think was the manger who was just incredible. We can’t wait to go back, worth every penny!
