This guesthouse is a Gem! Charming vintage style coupled with beautifully clean rooms with a good shower & a very comfortable bed. Host could not have been friendlier making me very welcome from the start. Breakfast was a very good selection of cereals, toast, croissants, fruits, pan au Chocolat & cereal bars. Given the very central & perfect location it was quiet & peaceful. A blissful stay & I shall return.

Gosport is pleasant.
Gosport is pleasant. The area around Spring Garden Lane Apartments has some lovely houses, a beautifully converted rail station, green open areas. We ate at The New Benghal Indian restaurant. We also lunched at The Gosport Cafe. Both were very good. The apartment was within walking distance of the Gosport passenger ferry which takes you Portsmouth harbour.

Lots of historical buildings and a marvellous panorama of the harbour. Victualling Yard and the Submarine Alliance worth a visit, also the Explosion Museum plus a local history section in the Gosport Library very interesting.

We had a sea view room which gave us a panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding trees. There was a roll top bath inside the windows which felt like absolute luxury. The room had such nice touches to the decoration, it really felt as though love and care had been put into everything. The staff were ever so welcoming too; couldn’t do enough for us. The parking spot at the rear of the building is made for English cars 😁 or foreign drivers with parking skills🤭. But it is yours and very safe.
