Everything was fantastic, no negatives at all. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very good welcome, we were shown to our room and everything we needed to know was explained. Car parking very close by, but no longer free! The Mug House stopped giving out car park passes a couple of years ago. Wasn’t expensive and not a problem. Breakfast is an extra £10 per person. The building is 16th century, updated in Georgian times, and it’s also Listed so it’s full of wonderful character features!

Stayed at the Riverside apartment whilst attending a football event in Kidderminster with my teenage son as it saved us sharing a chain hotel room or booking two chain rooms. Riverside with it's two double bedrooms upstairs was perfect for our stay. The decor and layout of the apartment was exceptional with all amenities provided for a very comfortable stay. Riverside access to walkable pubs and restaurants (minutes walk) and easy parking around the corner. If you wanted to cook, the kitchen had all utilities available and there were two express supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast in the cafe below is great value for money after a morning walk along the river (cash only but there is an ATM at the Tesco Express nearby). Ample parking available at the rear of the property in a pay carpark (MIPermit app) and the option to drive to the front of the building to drop off cases etc if you need to. Would highly recommend if you need a high quality apartment to stay at in the area.

The property was immaculately clean, and so homely. We know Bewdley very well and never knew you could rent a beautiful cottage on the river for the same price as a 5star hotel. We would definitely recommend this lovely little gem!

We were only there for an overnight stay, but called into the town before we checked in. It is a lovely town with a fascinating museum and craft centre. We had a lovely meal at the Little Pack Horse pub, with fabulous pies, with a special 2 for 1 deal on a Wednesday night.

Bewdley is a nice little place, interesting museum and nice walking along the river. Buses to Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Ludlow and Telford run through the town so easy to get around as parking in these places was troublesome. We ate at The Mud House in the evening which is good and reasonable.

Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn.
Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn. Full of Georgian buildings and the stone bridge over the river, it is a great place to visit and stay. Lots of pubs including the Bewdley Brewery Tap on Lax Lane and various places to eat out, all within the compact town centre. There are lots of walking opportunities in the area, including alongside the River Severn to Arley.
This was such a delightful home from home place to stay. We booked a couple of night (2 couples) as a base in Bewdley as we were spending a day at the safari park and a day on the Severn Railway. Mingo Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The decor was very stylish.
Locally there were plenty of places to eat and we found the costs very reasonable.
This is definitely an area we wish to explore further so we hope to book again next year.
Thank you.
The location was really handy for Bewdley very quiet and private road, the bungalow was really spacious with a very private pet friendly garden it was so clean and and everything was done to a very high spec and every need catered for really felt like home from hope very good value for money.
The hosts were very friendly and with the doggy treats and the wine and cake for us it was the little extras that made this a lovely stay we will definitely be back for longer next time.
And would 100% recommend.
Location was perfect, just by the river. Easy access to the town and Severn Valley Railway, where we spent a great day.
Menu had a good selection and drinks too.
Beds were so comfy and my Mum enjoyed the disabled facilities in the bathroom.
Lovely quiet garden area at the back of the pub which was a little sun trap.
All staff get 5 stars, couldn't do enough for us.
Second time staying here, lovely place in the Centre of Bewdley, near to the main town centre.
Great for the Severn Valley Railway which is why we were visiting Bewdley.
I love this place, obviously the building is around 200 years old so the floorboards and stairs are a bit wonky, which I love.
The host has been great both times, with fresh milk and bread being left.
We stayed in the Daffodil room, its very yellow! :-) The room was a good size with seating area and a large bathroom. Having a fridge with water bottles and fresh milk, tea and coffee in the room was good too. Its a large quirky room in an old quaint English pub/Inn in a good position over looking the river Severn in Bewdley. Breakfast was plentiful too. Recommended.
Met by Richard on arrival with keys and explanation of the cottage facitlities. Richard has refurbished the cottage to a high standard throughout so it very comfortable, well equiped and spacious, It is located in a quiet area of Bewdley with private parking outside the door, yet less than a 2 mins stroll to all the towns amenities.
We enjoyed the location, area and the quirkiness of the pub. The bar areas were very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The bed was comfortable and the bed linen nicely laundered and lovely fluffy towels. The shower was also good.
Their own free parking spaces was a very good added bonus.
This was a great location near the center of Bewdley. The apartment was spacious for 3 of us. The bathroom and kitchenette were nice and the apartment had the best selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates of any place ive stayed at. The directions and check in access were easy to follow.
The property was a lot more spacious than the photos show, very modern , clean and comfortable.Big garden area for dogs to run around .The hosts were very helpful and welcoming . We were very happy with our stay .Little touches like fresh bread and milk were left for us .
The breakfast choice was excellent and all ready for you in the morning. The cooked breakfast was served quickly, so no waiting around. The breakfast room was beautiful and guests spaced out at large tables. All very elegant and in keeping with the lovely house.
Self catering, so went out for brunch.
Very relaxing treat. Lovely decor and amazing walk-in shower with very good water pressure. Very straightforward instructions for all gadgets & white goods. Easy walking distance to Bewdley town centre .
it was centrally located in beautiful Bewdley. The hotelwas full of old world charm and it was busy and full of life, most of the day and nights even on a Monday. The staff made us feel welcome and were helpful when appliances didn’t work.
The property was immaculately clean, and so homely. We know Bewdley very well and never knew you could rent a beautiful cottage on the river for the same price as a 5star hotel. We would definitely recommend this lovely little gem!
A beautiful property in the lovely town of Bewdley. its such a pretty area.
The rooms look and feel extravagant and special. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
We had a super stay . Thank you
Location and the parking arrangements while we stayed at the property. We were there as a group of older gentlemen visiting the SVR for the weekend and the property is located well for Bewdley Station.
Clean and spacious. Good shower and quality equipment (kettle, cups etc) ideal for using the room as a bedroom. interesting design within the mansard form of roof.
Location was central, staff were friendly polite and helpful, flat was comfortable, spacious, clean and well presented..... faultless, will be stopping there again.
Great location for the railway. Just a short walk from Bewdley town centre, which is a lovely place to visit. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
