Lovely staff, clean room with very comfortable double bed.
Actually I have stayed here 3 times now as a solo business traveller, and each time I have been impressed by the large clean bedroom with all the facilities I need.

Really nice and clean. Definitely stay here if you’re looking for a nice apartment in Rotherham. Right in the heart of Rotherham. The host was lovely, and very communicative. We were a bit apprehensive to book as there was not many reviews but we will definitely be back in the future.
Small English town, nearby Sheffield. It's a good place to visit if you wish to see how real people in England live. It's nothing like the big cities. However it's not a place I would stay for more than 1 night...Few hours stop at most.

I stayed in the centre.
I stayed in the centre. Driving in the outer areas had nice three bedroom semi-detached houses type properties. In the centre more terraced houses.
Lots of shops, quite a lot of retail park area in the centre.
An Aldi next to an Asda, a large Tesco Extra a mile away. A McDonald's restaurant with drive through, a Burger King, a bridge where underneath you see River Don with swans if you are fortunate.
Some parts a bit dull, few less nice houses amongst some terraced houses.
A nice mosque in the central area.
Petrol seems a lot cheaper in central areas where they compete with supermarkets than outer areas like Rawmarsh where they have less competition.
Town has population of around 260,000.

Well did not go sight seeing, needed some where over two nights, due to Darts competition at the Magna centre. But due to the so called studio apartment upset me and the wife, and found a travel-lodge in Sheffield instead.
We stayed at the Consort Hotel twice last month for business, on both occasions we could not find any faults. Had a few hiccups on our first stay, but the staff were more than happy to help. Lovely hotel, great value for money and as we use hotels at least twice a week for business, saving money on accommodation is a must. We will definately stay at the Consort again.
The room was a fair price. It was a good size and modern. Staff were welcoming enough. However, people were lingering outside the hotel smoking drugs and sleeping rough. Some of those people were also staying in the hotel. The people of the area looked like the walking dead. Maybe that's just what it's like in Rotherham and the hotel cannot really be to blame.
Arrived approx 16:05 , and was greeted by a smiley receptionist who explained about the electricity card, free wifi etc.
The room although advertised as a Double could have easily been marketed as a King due to the space to the side of the bed.
The location was approx 10mins into Rotherham Centre in the morning and was easy to find!
A newly renovated hotel, always room to improve. Clean room. Everything is new in there. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Any issues get solved right away. Walkability is excellent, really good restaurants & takeout spots nearby. I highly recommend this place. I have family in Rotherham. I will definitely stay here again.
Bar area and lobby were really nice, I've stayed at many Holiday Inn and I'd say this was one of the nicest.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful, to be fair everyone we met in Sheffield was.
Only 15 mins taxi to town.
Breakfast was nice what you'd expect.
Friendly staff, great bed linen, close to town centre. I don't usually stay in £40 per night accommodation but it represented great value for money.
Breakfast - unlimited fresh coffee, orange juice, cereal and a breakfast sandwich £3.95 marvellous value!
The town centre location is great with free on-site parking.
Nice restaurant and bar with fabulous food and a good selection of beers.
Very tidy, clean and well kept reception and waiting areas.
Room a little small but much better than some.
Booked two rooms .. one was lovely but the other smelled like a mouse cage imo, however they gave our party a different room which was fine. Corridors and reception area were clean. The hotel is going through some restorations .
It looks like the hotel is in the middle of refurbishment and the parts that have been done look good, we only needed a bed for the night so was ok for us ,the beds were comfortable the rooms well equipped and staff were friendly
The room is very basic but ok for this price, The shower is nice and the bed is pretty comfy. The hotel staff is very friendly. It has some distance from the town but the supermarkets and Parkgate mall is nearby.
Very accommodating staff, easy to reach and park by car. Good car park, good bar / restaurant area. Rooms were comfy and nice, freshly decorated. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was modern and shower was good!
Very cosy boutique hide away hotel, bar had reasonable drinks prices and car parking locked up at night. Centre of town location was good. Room was small my adequate. Staff very well presented and helpful
The location was close enough to walk into the town centre.
Plenty of free parking as it is accommodation BEHIND the actual hotel. Possibly originally hospital accommodation??
The room was very clean.
Very comfortable and clean room. Staff very helpfull.. Great breakfast. Have used this hotel for a number of years to attend events at Sheffield Ice Arena.
