Holiday Inn Express Doncaster, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Doncaster

2 minutes’ drive from the M18 motorway and the A1(M), this modern hotel offers comfortable, temperature controlled rooms.

The room was verry clean and the bed was comfortable. That comfortable that I went for a lie down for ten minutes at 17:00 and didn't wake up until 20:18. The staff were helpful answering any questions that I had as well. I would return to this hotel if I visit Doncaster again.

My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing.

My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing. I noted that the racecourse is just a couple of minutes from where I was staying, and the Lakeside shopping centres a few minutes more in the opposite direction. I would have liked to visit the air museum but didnt have time

The Hilton Garden at Doncaster Racecourse exceeded my expectations. This was very much a good 4 star hotel. The inside was impressive, check in a breeze and the staff were excellent. The rooms were light, airy and clean. The corridors also weren't the dark and depressing norm of most hotels which was appreciated. The bar was good with staff being very attentive. Breakfast was a good buffet style fare with hot and plentiful options.

We have stayed in dozens of guest houses over the years and this was by far the best one we have stayed in. The owner Tracy was extremely friendly. The location was fab, 10 minute walk to the racecourse and only £3.50 in a taxi coming back from the town centre on the night time. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. We will certainly be staying here again when we next visit Doncaster.

Location was ideally suited to visitors of the Wildlife Park and we got a train to Doncaster and an Uber to the hotel. We travelled as a family including my (adult) son who has autism and complex needs. All staff from reception, dining facilities and the park itself were immediately aware of my sons needs without explanation and couldn't have been more helpful or understanding.
