As a village Belford has everything. It has Bamburgh and Budle Bay10 mins away. Just off A1 so convenient, it has the usual 2-4 pubs, shops.. The village could do with facelift just as Bluebell hotel does.

Stayed here many times at The Market Cross Guest House which is excellent, but was unfortunately full for my dates.
Had dinner at Apple Inn at Lucker which was excellent.

Very clean basic rooms and bathroom.
However stairs need attention before they become dangerous.
Dinner menu of good, straightforward food cooked to a good standard with more than sufficient, varied choices.
Breakfast was very good value with more than adequate quantities of items and choice - again the cooking was good.
Would happily stay here again.

Belford is a great location.
Belford is a great location. It's close to the beaches, castles, and Holy Island.
Would highly recommend visiting Bamburgh Castle, and the beach (amazing sand dunes).
For a good meal out, I would recommend the Indian Brasserie in Seahouses - the food is excellent.
Holy Island is only about five miles from Belford - visiting is a must! Absolutely beautiful!
A good full day is needed, but check the tide times!
Compact but has all you need with very clever use of the space - the sofa turning into a bed is very smart and means when you're cooking etc you have a good amount of space without a bed in the way! The bed and sofa are both comfy and the transition is super simple. Really liked the site with turkeys and geese and other birds wandering about :D Great location within the village with a co-op opposite and a footpath less than 5 minutes away. Used this as a base to travel around in Northumberland and had a great time, very comfortable.
Just one night at Well House but wished we'd had a longer stay. We were exhausted and starving when we arrived and were pointed in the direction of The Salmon for food (also excellent). Quick shower in the beautiful bathroom on return and then the best night's sleep we'd had in our jaunt across Northumberland. Bedroom was lovely and bed was sooo comfortable. Most civilised breakfast we've had in a long time! Hope we get to stay again.
A welcoming roaring real fire. The attention to detail was a delight. e.g fresh milk in fridge outside room. A borrowable parking permit for Northumberland. Complimentary cake and rum (yes rum) in room and complimentary crisps and fruit outside our room.
Excellent restaurant serving a varied and well prepared well received fare with accompanying choice of drinks.
Second time we have stayed here, great location for visiting Northumberland or this time we popped up to the Scottish Borders,
Cottage in a quiet back street, for us a lovely little cottage for a short getcaway in a lovely village, If you stay here pop into the Bkack Swan pun for a lovely welcome.
For a roadside hotel I was super impressed! It’s a perfect stopover place for a road-trip! Its exceptionally clean and neat, staff are lovely and it’s very clever design makes you feel like you’re more isolated than you actually are (the windows face farmlands)! The breakfast was also really great!
Room was very clean and quite spacious, view was lovely.
Breakfast was pretty good, sausages were excellent.
Location is excellent, right off the A1 but very quiet due to the rooms all facing the open fields at the rear of the hotel.
Had everything I needed for a short stay, overall very happy.
Everything. Could not fault this hotel at all. Very welcoming, very friendly, very helpful, very comfortable room and they were amazing as I requested the four poster bed and they accommodated this for us making our trip extra special.
Well placed property for exploring the Northumberland coastline and the Cheviots, pleasant small community with well equipped supermarket, fish and chip shop with good local reputation and pubs although only served food at weekends
The location was stunning, Belford is a pretty market town. It was easy to park within a stones throw from the hotel. Breakfast and service was good. We enjoyed staying in the annex outside the hotel.
The Corner House was very clean, well appointed, nicely decorated and in a very convenient location in the lovely village of Belford. Danielle was very responsive to our needs.
We were touring Northumberland and stayed in several guest houses this was by far the best breakfast. We were there 2 nights and the room was serviced and fresh towels provided
