HP Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Congleton

A 7-minute drive from the center of Congleton, HP Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable rooms and cooked English breakfasts. This east Cheshire bed and breakfast provides free parking and Wi-Fi.

If you like old school bed and breakfasts with a warm, friendly host I would heartily recommend HP. I vowed to only eat a full English breakfast for the first two days and ended up eating one every day they were so good. Pat even made me a bacon sandwich to take to the airport. She was so gracious and very fun to talk with.

It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went . You need to be a countryside fan to enjoy the loft and surrounding areas

We stayed overnight for a wedding. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was old fashioned and shabby. The breakfast was very good but I object to having to order it the night before as on the day I wasn't very hungry so had to cancel that order.

A very nice place to be, with good facilities close to the Hotel where we were staying. The breakfast in the hotel was good with a large selection of various items. We may well return to this hotel as both the setting and the staff were excellent.

Never thought to visit the area, but I am glad that I did, its life at a slower pace and a chance to get back to nature, each village has its own unique character and charm. Every pub seemed to serve really great food and people actually smiled and were pleasant and chatty. Some of the churches are good examples of what seems to be a slowly disappearing england, plenty of history and the locals enjoy telling their areas claim to fame.

In truth I did not see much of Congleton as a town as I was there for a walking trip but it is equipped with bus and train links to local and national locations. It is an extremely scenic area surrounded by hill, canals, rivers and small villages with great places to eat and drink.

Excellent accommodation and suited us perfectly as we were attending a wedding and our other friends were able to stay in the cottage next door, making taxi's/travel to the wedding really easy! The cottage is kitted out with everything you need in terms of crockery, cups, glasses, bedding and towels - and the patio area with folding doors was amazing to have.. making the space seem a lot bigger.

Reubens was a stopover on a long trp to Scotland. It was a great choice which we will definitely consider doing again. It was a shame we didn't have time to look around pretty looking Congleton. Smart modern rooms. Friendly staff. Restrant is contemporary and good value for money. Nina's communication beforehand was excellent; thorough and very responsive.

From the moment we arrived the owners could not be more helpful with arranging a taxi for us and even coffee while we waited. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had better than many 4 star hotels . I cannot rate this highly enough and will definitely be back when visiting congleton again

Really nice 'apartment', comfortable, clean and a good size. Carefully considered, often luxurious touches to add to the overall experience. The location was good for us as we were there specifically to do the nearby parkrun. Not sure what else Congleton has to offer but it is right on your doorstep so handy in that regard.

The location wasn't far away from Jodrell Bank which is one of the main attractions in the area. The breakfast was lovely and the room was fantastic. Just the right amount of space for 2 adults and a teenager. The town of Congleton was a short drive and we had a good walk around the area.

Beautiful property set in gorgeous, well maintained gardens. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for one night prior to our daughters wedding in Congleton and would love to come back later in the year to enjoy the hotel more.

Really good location in Congleton. The train station and the Town Centre are very close within walking distance. Fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs nearby. The cottage itself had 2 good sized bedrooms with a compact kitchen and two small reception rooms.
