Pleasent overnight stay during our UK roadtripping tour. Accomodation was easy to find, clean, spacious and comfortable.
Wonderful place on the south side of Loch Ness. The waterfall is spectacular and the hiking in woodland is astounding. It’s one of the few places around the lake where you can actually hike along the coast..

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world.
Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world. It is in the country side therefore you can see a part of Scotland that the usual tourist doesn't see. I loved the garden and the rambling old house, looking over Loch Ness. The most important part was the comfortable bed and quite well appointed room. The owners were delightful and made us very comfortable. It is not far from a local pub where you can get a lovely meal. The breakfast that was included was scrumptious and substantial. I wish we had stayed a bit longer.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Chris at Foyers and loved every moment of our stay. The property and setting are beautiful with a view from the dining room of the pretty garden and it's wildlife as well as a direct view to Loch Ness. Our pretty room was great, with everything we needed including a private door to a small enclosed area and the garden - perfect for our dog. Elly whipped up delicious dinner and breakfast and our spaniel, Pringle, loved her breakfast sausage. We were grateful to Chris for his recommendation of dog walking spots which were great. Arrive as guests & leave as friends - we did! Can't wait to return for longer.

It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights.
It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights. We walked from our hotel down to the Loch and back up through a beautiful wood by the river. It was a strenuous walk, lots of steps up but really lovely. Foyers is a small village spread down the valley from the road. Not a lot to do at night but if come prepared to entertain yourself it's tranquil and restful. Short drive to Inverness and things to do on the Loch in the day. We really enjoyed our time there and we would go back.

A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops.
A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops. Very little traffic. Excellent scenery. Tourist attraction Falls of Foyers. Not far away from Fort Augustus where the Caledonian Canal begins where one can see the road bridge opening and the lock gates opening and various boats navigating the locks on their way up the canal. From Foyers Inverness is a short drive away with its excellent shopping, Castle, indoor market, Theatre, miniature railway, Cruises to look for Dolphins, Fort George a very old military fort constructed to protect the forts inhabitants from attack by an enemy.
The hotel was a lovely family run business that pays great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was first class and fresh and catered for all the gluten free needs of my husband. They welcomed our dog and treated him like the lord that he has now learned to become!! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and the bathroom fully equipped with toiletries. The view to Loch Ness was lovely as was watching the red squirrels at breakfast as well as the birds from the lovely breakfast conservatory.
Where to start, it is in a charming town on the Loch Ness . Tucked away on a hill so you have beautiful views of lake and forest. The house is easy to find with GPS! Home inside is wonderful, a bit of vintage mixed with stylish upgrades! So clean ! Beds were like sleeping on pillows! Anything we needed was graciously accommodated by the lovely hosts Chris and Elly. Easy to get anywhere in highland area! They have some entertainment as well! Absolutely loved it! Hated to leave!
Wonderful hotel. Overlooking Loch Ness. Immaculately clean. Modern rooms and bathrooms. The staff were fantastic. They never stoped going out if their way to make the stay effortless. Very friendly. Bar was great. Diner was exceptional. Best meal I have had in two weeks in Scotland. Dinner was gourmet, breakfast was also great. A vert nice surprise in Foyer. I would go back again in a heartbeat.
We had a lovely view of the Loch from our bedroom which was really nice. We had our dinner on the terrace overlooking Loch Ness, it was very sunny and there were no midges which was a huge bonus. The rooms were very pleasant, nicely decorated and comfortable. We were given a glass of prosecco each on arrival which was a lovely gesture.
Fantastic accommodation in the heart of the beautiful Foyers.
Our room was stunning and facilities to match.
Food & drinks were amazing, definitely compliments to the Chef.
Location is stunning, with outdoor seating area looking over Lochness, would definitely return in the future thank you to all at Foyers House 😊
The location was good, right beside Foyers Falls.
We booked dinner at the Wee Dram, which is in Foyers House. Foyers Roost is part of the same building, which makes it look like that’s where you are staying.
The owner of Foyers House was friendly and had a huge selection of whiskeys, if you like a dram.
Wow!!! The views are breathtaking, we could never tire of looking over Loch Ness. The lodge is just beautiful, comfy and clean - there is everything you need. We will be coming back without a doubt. Added bonus was the local pub just a 4 min walk away with a great selection of food and drinks.
Chris and Ellie are great hosts and we had a warm welcome. Views over Loch Ness are stunning, and there's plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped and the evening meal and breakfast was excellent. The location is also great, near the Falls of Foyers
Thanks for a great stay! Perfect location for all things Loch Ness! Rooms was clean and comfy with a brill view, the facilities were always kept clean. Had a great dinner in the place next door! For the price this was perfect base for our 2 days exploring foyers and Loch Ness.
As there was a race on and we couldn't leave the property till late and the email came in after our time that we could cancel so we didnt stay to get breakfast. Nothing to do with the hotel or the family just not what we hoped for that weekend on our short time away.
We liked the location at south of loch ness! We had a big and clean room! The bathroom (shower and toilet are in two seperate room) is shared with two other room wich was no problem. The location has a restaurant that serves food until 8.15pm and a great whysky bar!
Everything about the hotel is great, from the room, staff, service and more. The view is out of this world, being on the edge of Loch Ness. The food in the restaurant was great and was always served with a smile.
Beautiful setting, great food! Louise and Terry are wonderful hardworking hosts. Make reservations at the wee dram and be on time. Delicious and a beautiful view of the Loch while you dine.
great view of Loch Ness. Beautiful old hotel. The best dinner here, that we have had in 3 weeks of traveling. Staff was the friendliest, the most helpful of any on our trip.
