Such a wonderful stay, in a lovely cosy pub. Very friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable & clean room. We felt very relaxed and our stay at The Foresters made our weekend. A lovely breakfast to start our day and then off to explore Bath.

Lovely, rustic, quintessentially old English pub in a quaint village location that was excellent for access to both Bath and Longleat, as well as other places of interest.
Staff were all wonderful, room was comfortable and cosy, the food, drink and service was excellent - great range to suit all tastes, delicious and good choice of non-alcohol drinks!
We will be returning!

The facilities and the quality of the food at atmosphere first class
On average, 3-star hotels in Frome cost $137 per night, and 4-star hotels in Frome are $135 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Frome can be found for $161 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Very hilly access to main shopping area.
Stayed in Frome for easy access to Longleat but visited Wells and would suggest if you're planning a longer trip, stay there. Wells is far more interesting.
We stayed at Bistro Lotte in Frome for two nights. Good place and nice food for the evening but not cheap (£60 a head with wine).
Went for fish and chips at the White Row Farm, Beckington for the second (Friday) evening.

I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s.
I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s. Lovely quaint market town, but it has become more busy and parking is difficult generally. Two theatres... great! And lots of entertainment in Cheese and Grain. Very hilly place, ok if you’re fit to walk everywhere, if not there are buses.

The George hotel, fronting on to a busy main road, was noisy; it was only single-glazed. From what we could tell, Frome offers no other hotels - shame.
There were some nice eating places in the town; we visited a fine Italian restaurant on three evenings, no less.
We also happened on an excellent coffee/chocolate shop, appropriately called Choc. The staff were excellent, as was the produce.
Frome benefits from a railway station, with frequent services to Bath and beyond, also to Weymouth. Alas, for us it involved a mile-long walk from the centre of the town.

Absolutely beautiful and quirky.
Absolutely beautiful and quirky. Loads of independent shops and eateries. Wonderful independent cinema and fabulous old-fashioned bakery with gorgeous cakes.
The Lamb and Fountain is the most incredible old-fashioned pub in a backstreet. Like stepping back in time. Delicious and very cheap farmhouse cider on draft and cheese and onion rolls for sale. Has a lovely courtyard garden down an alleyway out the back.

Frome was not like how it was explained on the website. We felt it was poor in alot of the places.Catherine street was ok and cheap street. We were really disappointed and would not return thought it was run down and a bit rough
From the very warm welcome from Nicki as we arrived paved the way for our overnight stay.
The room was exceptionally clean with lovely touches such as the chocolates on our towels to the complimentary fizz in the mini fridge.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and a refreshing change from the usual fry up offered.
Nicki was friendly and helpful - it felt like we had known her for years.
If Nicki and Tim were running a hotel it would definitely be a 5star one.
We would recommend this fab B&B to anyone staying in the area.
We were surprised to find the property in a housing estate. However it was very conveniently situated close to Longleat Safari Park and Frome town centre.
If you prefer full English breakfast this is not the establishment for you. We were very happy with continental breakfast, which was plentiful. Breakfast was very relaxed, Nicki and Tim were very attentive and excellent hosts.
Our room was delightful, very well equipped and comfortable.
Nicki was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
Appreciated the gluten free and vegetarian options for breakfast.
The beds were comfortable and cozy.
We didn't get to appreciate the grounds fully, but it was fun to see the dogs getting their exercises. We understand from locals that the walks at the property and into Frome are very enjoyable.
The grounds and surroundings are well kept and quiet.
We like the Verdi toiletries case for the pleasant fragrances.
Also the clean and contemporary lines of the reception.
The Cornerhouse is in a great location for exploring and close to the town. The room had just been refurbished, so it was all new and spotlessly clean. There was a nice choice of breakfast and the staff were warm and welcoming.
Just be aware (July 2023) they are currently looking for an evening cook, so there are no evening meals. We were recommended a restaurant within a few minutes walk which was really lovely and there are lots of places to eat in Frome.
This is a small family home and has that feel. The cottage is a short walk to the lanes of Frome and felt well located. It only took 10 mins to walk home each night. The area is quiet and parking was easy. The kitchen was particularly nice and the main room we spent time in as it was spacious, light and airy. The master bedroom is big and the bed comfortable. The cottage was simply laid out and easy to be in.
A lovely log cabin with everything you need, also had complimentary milk, biscuits and wine on arrival. 1 bedroom with really comfy large bed and sofa bed in the living area which we used. Good bathroom. Had everything we needed. Although in owners garden it was very private. Had seating area outside and parking. Good location for Frome town centre which you can easily walk to. All good
Location great. Bed really comfortable..room temperature just right, not too hot. Duvet just the right thickness. Really welcoming staff. Excellent Guinness ..Good imported lagers on tap such as Am
stel.Breakfast really good too.Vegan and vegetarian options.Frome town centre on the doorstep..everything within a 10 min walk.Perfect for night out at the Cheese and Grain..
Such a lovely place situated on the outskirts of the main small town of Frome. It’s situated above a gorgeous quaint bistro with beautifully furnished rooms that include really lovely unique touches. Both us and our children loved the family suite and had a really comfortable nights sleep. The breakfast the next morning was also delicious and much appreciated! :)
The room (5) was very interesting the bed was comfy the food was good honest fare, the staff were very friendly pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience. I would recomend the Archangel to friends. The location was excellent and for an hotel in the centre of town I had two very quite nights sleep.
not ideal for someone to stay as it sits on top of a pub/ restaurant , the breakfast was served very cheaply with a small container of juice kept on the table , we asked we do r want breakfast so if we can get a refund and they said we will call you back but never heard back which was expected !!
The hotel is situated very close to the cheese & grain. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. Evening meal & full English breakfast was very nice. Great to have a locked car park to know your car is secure & parking is free.
Very comfy beds and great shower. Breakfast was delicious. We also had a lunch and this was equally tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bistro is in an excellent position for the centre of Frome and for touring the area.
Jasmine cottage is set in a beautiful location. James is an excellent host and cooks an amazing breakfast. It was a very nice and restful stay. James is great to talk with and really helpful with offering advice on things to do in the area.
The terrace area and bar were really pleasant and we had a good night here.
The setting is beautiful.
The chap doing the maintenance etc was really helpful and a nice guy.
The outside spa pool would have been nice if we’d had our trunks.
Beautiful rustic and modern interior design of the room combing elements old and new. Great fittings, lush TV with apps pre installed, great WIFI speeds. Great breakfast. Loved the piano in one of the shared areas of the hotel.
Claire, our host, was lovely. We liked that the house has history. Our room was large with a comfortable bed, and modern ensuite. Ideally placed to explore Frome.
Hotel was in the centre of town making it a good position for walking round. Breakfast was a good selection, and the staff where very helpful and attentive.
