We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Hampton Court, it is situated right next to The Lion Gates! The highlight for us were the staff. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We even had fresh brownie bites waiting for us! We will definitely be back!
The bar staff and breakfast staff were excellent, helpful and chatty. The food and drinks met our preferences and we very much enjoyed all the breakfasts and dinners. The hotel was an excellent casual and comfortable model and in a perfect location for our visits to Hampton Court and Kew, and being able to hop on a bus and leave the car was a big bonus.
The location was in the heart of Kingston upon Thames which was great as the shops were just a minute walk away. The room was a decent size and very clean. There was soap and detergent for the washing machine and the host was fantastic. Anything we needed would be arranged if it wasn't there already. The kicthen had everything needed to make meals.
The Mitral is in the perfect location just outside Hampton court palace and London city centre is easily accessible via the train and Tube. Without exception all the staff were welcoming and helpful. This beautiful old hotel has plenty of character
Good hotel with clean room. Great shower, I never managed to work out the flash coffee machine in the room. The breakfast look good for meat eaters, and a bit bland for veggies. It was ok, toast and croissants, grapes.
Excellent location on the banks of the Thames and the station is just over the bridge so very easy to get into London
Old quirky Hotel with lots of history. Friendly staff and clean classic room with full bathroom
The staff were truly exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great as good as any top hotel I've stayed in. Not the biggest rooms or en suites but I would highly recommend this hotel as value for money.
I was later to the hotel than expected but they were very good and kept my room and checked with me via text that everything was ok. The hotel was well priced, clean and convenient for a quick stop off.
Well located in Kingston upon Thames. Easy walking to the river, shopping centre, Sainsburys, bus stops and train station. Host was excellent as responding to questions.
