Self Catering Accommodation in Ellendale

The view overlooking the lake was beautiful and the nightly visitors were so cute. The house was clean and modern and the kitchen had everything you would need for cooking meals (bring food though, it's a fair drive to get groceries). The game consoles for kids is a great idea if the weather is no good. Emily is a caring, excellent host, and we had a trouble free, relaxing end to our Tassie trip.

It had all the essential things someone would want (outfitted kitchen, powerful heaters, nice TV, excellent phone reception and wifi). It also had nice extras, including a giant woodheater stocked with heaps of wood, nearby miniature ponies for animal lovers and a long, private, beautiful bush track with awesome views and interesting surprises that I won't spoil here.

There is so much here to see and do for all ages. Very creative activities for children. I walked up the hill behind at the end of the day with fabulous views. The circular walk was beautiful and as good as in any national park. Good signage and information, huge trees near the end very special. Fresh eggs on the table and I used a few herbs and organic vegetables. Kitchen has more than most places. As a solo traveller I had plenty to do as well as Mt Field National Parks visits, would love to have shared the experience but telling friends.
