    We loved the spaciousness, and the warmth in the mornings and the spectacular views. We enjoyed having such a perfectly appointed kitchen at our disposal and the cozy lounge. Internet worked well. It was wonderful to feel so far away while being so close to many attractions and amenities. So special staying in a home so considerate and attuned to the natural surrounds.

    One of the best places we’ve stayed. Location and views amazing, beautiful native garden, house even better. Main bedroom with views over the lagoon to wake up to, great bathroom (and bath), huge and well equipped kitchen, fire heater. We hardly saw any of KI because we didn’t want to leave the house.

    The location was perfect for what I wanted. The stone sections of the house were beautiful, the kitchen has everything you need. The wood heater was used daily because it was so cold. Warmed up most of the house but the bathroom was freezing.

    A wonderful specious rustic accommodation. Set in the middle of bushland with beautiful water views. Kitchen is well organised. Plenty of towels available in the bathroom. Just 25 minutes from the ferry and/or Kingscote, 5 minutes to lovely American River.
