The location was great, and we had a great time there. It was very relaxing to hear the ocean when we were sitting on the balcony and through the night. It was also handy to the bowls club which was great. It is a great place to stay, and we would recommend it anyone planning on coming to Straddie!

Secluded location in the forest at the northern tip of the island, beach over the dunes 200m away. Master bedroom wing enormous, bed firm and extremely comfortable. Photos do not do this place justice. Abundant wildlife, massive undercover deck with BBQ, lounge and outdoor setting. We had friends join us for a weekend, the living, kitchen and other two bedrooms were in a separate linked pavilion. The shared bathroom has a glorious deep bath. We liked our kangaroo family greetings each day, the curlews and sound of the waves. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of storage space. Entry to Flinders Beach 4wd just metres away, great fishing.

    Great value for the price, a neat and tidy, functional little unit that had everything I needed and was in a very convenient location. I was on the island for a sports competition and was away from the property a lot of the time, so it was all I needed for sleeping. Kitchenette was handy. Located in a great spot, close to coffee shops, headland and beach, complex was nice and quiet.

    Size and location of property was fantastic. Kitchen had everything you would need to feed a large group (we had 7 people staying) with plenty of crockery and cutlery and large-sized pots and cookware. Generously stocked with extra stuff to use and borrow like board games, books, kids' bikes, bodyboards, beach chairs, esky etc Both bathrooms, and the powder room, were large and clean. Pet friendly with an enclosed safe garden space for the dogs
