The apartment was spacious, clean and looked exactly like the photos. It was equipped with everything we needed. Marie and Thomas were friendly and helpful. For us the location was perfect with a twenty minute walk into the centre of the historic old town with lots of restaurants. As part of paying the tourist tax Thomas provided us with a Konus card which gave us free travel on all trains in the Black Forest area and reduced admission to museums.

It was an unbeatable location first and foremost. But it was also highly comfortable and functional. Staying here was just easy. The host has clearly put thought and effort into creating a user friendly base for weary travellers! The washer and dryer were a godsend and the shower was spacious and had little shelves so you don’t have to put your stuff on the floor. We appreciated all the pamphlets and info the host provides in multiple languages.

This accomodation was amazing and even BETTER than coming home!!! The contact with the Gastgeber Susanne & Jean-Marie Trapp was very nice. They are very open and answer every question/doubt you have. The appartment was just beautiful and very clean. It has got every detail and there is an amazing atmosphere. We had a very romantic time in this appartement and the beautiful town Gengenbach. Superb location, knowledgeable host, kindly booked us a table at a local restaurant where the food was incredible. This top floor apartment was well equipped, although it did come with quite a hefty price tag. Despite several reminders, we constantly bumped our heads on the low ceiling when leaving the property, which always gave us a laugh we will most probably return here although it would've been nice if there was a garage or shelter for our motorbikes as they were a little wet the following morning with the dew. The host promised to ride out with us if we return and show us the areas best bits. If his restaurant recommendation is anything to go by, this is a must we will, therefore, most probably return next year for a longer stay and enjoy all the area has to offer.

    Sooo comfy! The gentleman’s room is great. (There are 5 different apartment types, check which you are getting). We slept on the sofa bed and the kids in the separate bedroom. Good space, useful kitchen, good shower, large main bed. And it was stylish, in an interesting way. The mood lights on the walls and in the fo-fireplace. Just great. The air conditioning was great too. The location was perfect, check in great and covered parking awesome. And cheaper than most places. Awesome, would definitely return.

    Gengenbach is a small town with walkable distance to town centre, hotel and train station. The room is large and comfortable. It makes people feel like home. All the people in town are very nice. There is a small kitchen in the room. The decoration in the room are very good and meaningful.

    Very good accommodation , clean with a big balcony with forest view. The host was really nice and helpful. We stayed for 3 days, spacious apartment with full kitchen facilities. The property is in midst of forest, excellent and relaxing surrounding.

    The apartment is spacious, clean and equipped with all the amenities you need. We enjoy the fully equipped kitchen very much, and the bed is very comfortable. We feel at home and really appreciate the host's great taste and attention to details. For example, it's a nice surprise to see the soft drinks and coffee cream in the fridge. Overall it exceeds our expectations. It's 15 minutes walk to the train station, and it's a nice walk along the country road or through the quaint town.

    Large house with a great kitchen and a lovely garden. The bedrooms are mostly European style twins (two mattresses together). The decor is really nice and tradional. Location couldn't be better, just 50m from a nice bakery and 100m from the town centre. Outside is a large sitting area, perfect for families or groups. Anja the manager is really helpful. She allowed us to park our motorcycles in the garden behind the secure gates.
