Very clean and tidy. Host provided cereal, milk, juice which was much appreciated. Beds are super comfy and smelt nice. Apartment is located at the rear of The Pheasant Inn so it was great to be able to have a pub meal. Lovely atmosphere.

We stayed in a separate apartment at ground level. It had everything we needed to cook and relax on a holiday where we are moving frequently. The facilities were clean and modern. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Diane was a friendly and helpful host.

The apartment is in a great location, centre of town and with its own parking space. Easy access, being a ground floor apartment, very clean and comfortable. An ensuite to each of the bedrooms was very nice. We stayed when there was snow and ice and it was lovely and warm. Friendly owner, Diane, who checked everything was ok.

I is a nice little apartment. The front door is just off the main street, but the rooms look onto the street, so is a very convenient location. and the welcome basket was so lovely

The studio was small but attractive and very well appointed. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. They have done an amazing job using the small space effectively. Having the snack shed there was very helpful.

    The Old Gables is exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and the furniture, beds and kitchen appliances were of very good quality. Access to the house and parking were straightforward and communication very efficient. Its position is great for accessing all of the historical sites nearby. We would highly recommend!

    This was a wonderfully relaxing two night stay in the middle of a driving holiday. Anne was so.welcoming and the cottage was everything we could have wished for. A fully equipped kitchen (even a dishwasher) a lovely cosy living room and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. A glass of wine by the fire watching the sunset... what's not to love. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

    Pleasant little house with everything you could need. Was concerned about the kitchen being small but it is very well organised so it is easy to cook in. It is well equipped too. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable.

    Apartment was immaculate - the decor was lovely, the kitchen was well equipped, the lounge very cosy and the bathrooms looked brand new. Beds very comfy . Short walk to the high street/shops/pubs and restaurants. Very convenient for the M6 stopover we needed it for. Diane was a great host - she gave very clear instructions for arrival and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much Diane and family!

    The beds were so comfortable and cosy. The staff couldn't do more for us. Easy accessible. Lovely and quaint living room and very big. We loved our stay. Kitchen fully equipped and the milk, orange and cereal were a lovely addition. Massive bathroom too.
