We loved our stay! The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

Every. Single. Thing. Gemma and Steve have put so much thought and care into this incredible house! The beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. We were welcomed with a dram and a truly fabulous coffee/tea set up. There isn’t a thing about this house I didn’t love. Blankets downstairs so you curl up and watch tv, or even better, go out and use the ultra relaxing hot tub. What an absolutely marvellous experience, I cannot over emphasise how great this house was.

Room was very cosy and well equipped. IMHO, the space was just nice for a couple. There’s a wonderful view to watch the sunrise when you wake up in the morning. Above all, Gareth and Karen were superbly helpful. The car we rented suffered a punctured tyre and they went out of his way to assist us - e.g. Gareth helped us to source a replacement car from a local company. We are grateful for the kindness of the hosts and would strongly recommend this property.

    We liked everything. The cottage was spotless, all appliances and amenities you would need for self-catering working well, a view to die for. 1st class hospitality, Moira kindly agreed to extend our stay when our ferry was cancelled.

    We loved the cottage! It was immaculate, tastefully furnished with a well equipped kitchen that had a lovely view! The very generous welcome hamper was a lovely thought too! We spent a fabulous few days exploring Lewis & it was great to come back to a warm & cosy cottage each evening. Many thanks for a wonderful stay Moira.

    The self-catering property was beautiful, light, airy & very tastefully decorated. The cottage had everything you could possibly want and Gemma had added extra little touches that made it special. A lovely quiet location and parking on site. There was a small quantity of all the essentials (and some luxury items too) and a range of excellent appliances. Even an external clothes line.

    Everything!!! The property is extremely well presented, the kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are super comfy, and the hot tub is amazing. Gemma and Steve are very welcoming and also very respectful of visitor privacy. Overall, this is an absolute gem in the Hebrides.
