Located right at the ferry wharf it was interesting to watch the activity around the wharf. It was a nice place to wander around Stromness and Stromness was a great base for the island. We arrived to a warm inviting place on a very cold day, the lights and heating had been left on for us. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Off-street parking.

The keys were in the door on arrival. Two lovely self-catering cottages close to Stromness with fantastic views. Our hostess came to check that all was well soon after we arrived. All the appliances worked well, very nicely furnished. Near to good restaurants, and excellent Co-op in Stromness. Convenient for the ferry, and close to major archaeological sites.
