Christina is a wonderful, kind and generous host who met us with ice- cream on arrival, made us feel welcome in her beautiful rooms overlooking the ocean. We had a picturesque room and view and enjoyed the pretty gardens where we enjoyed our dinner overlooking the ocean. It was a short walk down to the beach where there are also restaurants if one wanted one. It was peaceful and a haven of rest. On departure we were gifted a thoughtful gift and sweets from the local church as they had just had a special celebration. Regretfully we couldn’t stay longer. If I could do it all over I would park at Flora’s apartments for a few days at least and rest some more.

Everything during my stay at Ariadne's Apartment has been nothing else but exceptional. The apartment is situated in the lovely village of Apollonas, on the north coast of Naxos... The village is beautiful, and is the perfect place for a vacation of complete relax and rest. From the apartment, you have an amazing view on the sea and on the mountain valley and peaks behind the house. The apartment is very comfortable, with everything you would need during your stay, a well stocked kitchen, a comfortable bathroom, a very wide bedroom/common area, and a nice patio outside. Carole, which has been my host, has been lovely, she helped with any need I had, gave me directions on what to see in Naxos island, and made me feel at home during all my stay. I will be back for sure.

Most perfect place to stay in! Even though the apartment is a 1-2 hour drive per bus away it is absolutely worth it! The communication was easy and we talked beforehand so checking in was simple. They serve great breakfast and sweets! And the tap water was good! The beach was just a walk across the street away. Perfect for a beach vacation! Alexandra made us feel welcome and cared for! Super nice and incredibly thoughtful. I loved staying there!

Absolutely everything. The house was spectacular and very confortable. The location was very quite and relaxing and Eirini and her father were super helpful, keeping prompt and respectful communication throughout the whole trip. Absolutely recommend.

Wonderful accommodation in a spectacular location. Stunning view, lovely pool, spacious apartment in a wild and beautiful remote part of Naxos. Hard to go by a delicious poolside cocktail at sunset. Highly recommended

The whole apartment was beautiful and suitably spacious! - The bed was very comfortable and cosy - You can also check out the sea view from the patio doors - I appreciated the design of the window in the toilet, a very innovative idea and helps to keep the toilet well ventilated and dry. - Water pressure was strong and hot water consistent - Kitchen was quite well-equipped - Very near to the port, Grotta beach (but it way too cold and windy to take a dip), KTEL (public bus around Naxos) and Portara - you can either walk on the sand or via the pathway

The apartment was very new, clean, and well decorated. Because there were only 3 apartments it was extremely quiet and private too with a peaceful view of the city from the not so distant hillside . We were greeted by Alexandros and his brother upon arrival. They gave us keys and helped us get a rental car delivered to our apartment. Because the home is up in the hills about a five minute drive into town we found it extremely helpful to rent a car to get around and tour the island . Alexandros gave us lots of great suggestions of places to visit and eat across the island. We spent one day driving inland and seeing the old villages and another day relaxing on an amazing local beach. Upon our arrival we found our room ready and waiting for us with a fresh bowl of fruit and the refrigerator was stocked with snacks. They even dropped off some of their fresh eggs for breakfast the second morning that we cooked in our kitchen with the bread and ham they left us. My husband and I visited with our 20 year old daughter. We had a two bedroom suite that would comfortably sleep 4 if necessary. The master bedroom had its own sink and shower inside and then there was another bathroom and shower off the living room. Outside they had a nice table and chairs where you could sit and look over the countryside and enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink at sunset. We found our stay in Naxos to be a refreshing change from the more touristy islands. We highly recommend staying at the Opuntia Suites for a very pleasant stay at an extremely fair price.

    Very cute little apartment which had absolutely everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped, washing machine with detergent, bathroom with soaps and conditioners, air conditioning, comfortable bed and a tv with Netflix. We wished we stayed longer. It was in a perfect location just a few steps away from the beach and shops. It was quiet and felt less touristy and you could actually relax here. We loved it.

    Great service, the owner is incredibly sweet - we got a welcome basket with breakfast essentials (even when booking without breakfast), all we had to do was buy a cup of yoghurt in a mini market down at the beach and we were sorted. And we got a welcome ice cream as well 💙 Rooms are big and clean, kitchen has everything you might need including fridge and coffee maker. There are even beach chairs in the room that you can take to the beach. Incredible view.
