Extraordinary hospitality from the owners. The house was spacious, equipped with everything we needed and more. Location close to restaurants, bars and the Saturday fair in Moires. Few minutes by car to the archeological sites of Phaistos and Gortyna. Would sincerely recommend.

This is a beautiful traditional home in Zaros, offering three apartments. Every apartment is clean and extremely comfortable with everything you need inside. The bottom apartments are great for jumping straight into the pool and the top apartments are has incredible views. The village of Zaros has everything you need, tavernas, coffee shops, little traditional bars, pharmacy, bakery, butcher and gift shops. You are close to hike the Rouvas Gorge and visit Lake Zaros. The nearest stunning beaches are approximately 40min away. The owner Vivi and her sister Cristina make you feel welcome straight away. Their Taverna Vegera, is great, serving home cooked traditional delicious food. The woman renting out the top of her house was very friendly and nice. Even though we booked with such short notice, she had a tiny snack prepared for us. In the end she gave us two kinds of spices to take. The rented apartment was very big, clean and tidy. A bit oldschool in decoration but very charming. The kitchen was fantastic with all the options it had. The surrounding town was tiny and everybody was very friendly even though tourists are probably not a very common sight here. We recommend going into the coffee house in the proximity of the church. We don't know if it's only for men, but the owner was very kind and gave us nice frappe.

we liked everything; comfortable beds, great stay;very quiet location but still close enough to heaches and Knossos and Heraklion ( car an absolute must). we arrived very late at the property and we were met by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome! even though it was the middle of the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house; it’s very quiet and well equipped. everything you need for a relaxing stay. if you love being away from the crowd this is an absolute treat!

Most impressive location I’ve ever seen. Very calm, a tiny village in the middle of the mountains. Super nice and welcoming staff, we felt really comfortable from the first minute. The food is fresh, traditional, homemade, the dinner menu changes evey day. The infinity pool is amazing, clean and well maintained. The price for the food is very reasonable. All in all it’s a very unique and amazing experience.
