Lovely, helpful, friendly hosts, who try their best for their customers. From this town we went to Pachnes, the room had not been reserved on the climbing days. The hosts offered to leave our bags when we returned, the room was cleaned and we stayed another night. We recommend it to everyone who wants to admire the incredibly beautiful view of the mountains and feel the peace of this town. It has no shops or attractions. But it has three pubs and a road through valleys and mountains towards Pachnes. The bar, which is located to the right of the town statue, is staffed by a very friendly bar owner, who also cooks delicious food. If you decide to enjoy nature and stay in these apartments, visit this Cretan bar

Great, peaceful location without mass tourism; Sofia is an excellent host. She was always ready to help, answering almost immediately; the house is huge and fully equipped, with perfect views onto the mountains and the village; the road from Chania is perfect, we used to drive it every night without any problems. You can easily park next to the door.

Alice was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We initially booked this place as part of our trekking adventure through Crete, but when the weather turned, we decided to extend our stay — and we’re so glad we did. Alice arranged an early check-in and went out of her way to help with various logistics, making everything seamless. We stayed in two different apartments (as we returned later in our trip), and both were immaculate — spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent, with convenient parking and a genuinely warm, inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Alice, for being such a star! You truly made our trip easier and more enjoyable

    Spacious house very close to Samaria gorge and other mountanin`s trails. House is clean, simply furnished with basic kitchen utilities but enough to prepare something to eat. Quiet area. Good restauratns nearby. Very good place to start mountain trip. Helpful host.

    Mike is an excellent host. He welcomed us warmly and took the time to describe in detail the features of the accommodation and how to use the bathroom, kitchen, and heating. The house is quiet and has a great view on Omalos. The position is excellent for the Samaria Gorges trail, even the drive up to the town is outstanding when not foggy (especially from Sougia). Since the water in Omalos is non-potable, Mike gave us bottled water in abundance for our stay. Would recommend the small house for a couple.
