A Perfect 10-Star Escape at Saudafell Guesthouse! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Saudafell Guesthouse, and I must say, it was an absolutely perfect experience. In fact, I would have loved nothing more than to extend my stay indefinitely! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome. The hospitality here is second to none, and it's evident that the hosts go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. But the real highlight of my stay was the breakfast shared with the host. It was not just a meal; it was an incredible experience that was both delicious and entertaining. The stories and conversation that flowed were delightful, and it felt like spending time with an old friend. Saudafell Guesthouse is situated on a beautiful farm, and being there felt like a true escape. The picturesque surroundings, complete with grazing sheep and the company of lovely border collies, were simply amazing. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic, rural way of life. The hosts are true people of the land, and they graciously open their world to their guests. It's a rare and unforgettable chance to participate in their lifestyle. Our stay was wonderful! Iceland’s weather may be unpredictable, but its beauty more than makes up for it. Coming back at the end of the day to this beautiful house with stunning surroundings made our trip even more special. It felt warm and welcoming, like coming home. Our family (four siblings with our spouses) absolutely loved it—a true home away from home.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Quiet. Beautiful location! The cabin was fully set up with a kitchen. The washing machine was great. Had to google the instructions manual. All good.
