Esjan is one of the best places I've ever stayed. I have never awarded a '10' before on a review. It is so peaceful and scenic - the surrounding mountains and lava field are stunning. . beach down the hill and the mountains on the other side - just incredible. In the morning, chickens greet you as you step outside the bus. There are beautiful Icelandic horses on the farm too and birds calling overhead like in an immersive nature tv programme. The showers are stocked with beautifully scented shampoo and shower gel. The hosts provide plenty of towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and with the view to the mountain at night, it felt like the dreamiest place on earth. Don't miss this experience.

I totally loved this apartment during my 2 weeks stay here in Iceland. Just next to the downtown shopping street, the location is within walking distance to many other amenities. The food and convenience store is just right below. The apartment itself is a great one. Clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. And not forgetting the beautiful view you get ( I managed to catch the Northern lights from my room!). All in all, what a stay and I'll definitely be getting the same place for my next stay here in Iceland.

This is a very confortable apartment, close to the city center, but in a very quiet zone. The apartment is big enought, has 2 good rooms with large beds, and is very well equipped. Highly recommended

The apartment is perfectly located not far from city center in the direction of starting car trips to main attractions, so it takes less than 10 minutes to get out of the city. There are few good restaurants, bars, a food court, some stores and quick pizza to go within 5 minutes walking. The parking is always available just near the building or on the opposite side of the road. The host arranged early check-in on our request, he provided all the necessary info about the apartment and the equipment, which made our stay convenient from very beginning. The apartment is new, very clean and has all the necessary equipment. Just perfect, thank you.

The apartment is stunning, modern, cozy and warm. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea. Super comfortable beds We really appreciated the coffee machine with the Lavazza coffee pods. The apartment was already available for the check in at 12pm

We stayed two nights here on late November and made a very last minute reservation on the same day. But very satisfied with our decision. Location: it is not in the middle of the city but it is great because it has ample free parkings outside the building. It is very convenient for us to load and unload our big luggages and the building has a lift. We drove to the city and park few hours when sightseeing. It's a walkable distance but during winter it was just too cold for us. It has eateries and a Bonus supermarket next door. Owner/manager: fast response. We communicate through this app and get fast prompt response. Though we booked few hours before check in, the apartment is ready, clean and self check in instruction is clear and easy to understand, easy to access. The locals living there are also nice and friendly. Facilities: washer and dryer available in common space. However we can't comment on details because we didn't use it. We just dry our small items in the house on the heated drying racks. Kitchen facilities are good, managed to cook with ease and the owner also left some basic seasonings and maybe items from previous guests. I like that they didn't throw away perfectly good items. We're able to use it as well.👍 The apartment is cozy and homely. Would stay again for future visit and stayed even longer. Very comfortable, feel safe and in summer maybe we can use the big terrace. The owner cares about the details because the plates and bowls and the vases are the nice ones.
