Self Catering Accommodation in Sauðafell

The house is beautifully restored, tastefully decorated and extremely characterful with a lovely family history. It was great to be able to use the well-equipped kitchen to cook dinner and there was plenty of space in the beautiful living room to eat and relax in the evening, with stunning views over the valley below. Berglind and Finnbogi were very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Sleeping in a old farm house. The inside is authentic. You can use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good and we have a good chat with the land lady.

The guesthouse is very characterful, furnished in a very homely style and has panoramic views looking west. Berglind was very welcoming and helpful with local tips. It is a 15 minute drive from the nearest town with a supermarket and has an excellent kitchen for self-catering. Well located for a one day tour of the peninsular.

It was a quaint farmhouse overlooking the valley full of sheep and lambs with the mountains in the background. While the home has been renovated, it maintained it's country feel. Ideal location for traveling through the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the West Fjords. Great breakfast to start your day. Good kitchen facility for cooking dinner if you choose to do that.

The room I slept in had possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Cannot recommend it enough and I wish we could have stayed longer. The hot tub was spacious and the living room and kitchen had everything you might need. The bathroom was modern and very clean.

Erpsstadir Cottage is located uphill from road 60 giving the location good view over the valley. Hot tub is amazing with this view. Equipped kitchen and lots of space in the cabin with its classic look.

We had some great discussions at the breakfast (which was pretty basic but enough). - The house is located on a farm full of sheep which was nice to look at, at all times - The bathroom was clean - The kitchen is very well equipped with everything u might need to heat meals or cook them - The shared space was good (although we were the only ones there that night, so we kind of enjoyed the whole house for ourserlves)

really huge and clean. well equipped kitchen with dryer and washing machine. hot tubs were great too and the bed was comfortable. the owner is really friendly too and help us with the hot tub set up even at 10 pm. really great service and highly recommend

Superbly renovated farmhouse! The room, as well as the shared bathroom were squeaky clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Breakfast was really nice and the very sympathetic hosts were both a treasure trove of excellent advice on what to visit around the Snaefelsnes Peninsula. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
