Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.

Veronique is a very very nice Host and did EVERYTHING to make sure our trip was worth it! This included receiving our lost luggage from the airline before we arrived in the accomodation. The Family Room we rented was very big, very clean and very nice. The kitchen was fully equiped, even with a dishwasher! The Hosts sell food and drinks if you need something (cheese, etc). Veronique even left us a nice note in our language (german) on the door. We loved this accomodation.

The little cabin was just right, a cosy warm home for a night. It was excellent size with 2 rooms, 1 shower-toilet and a kitchen-living room. It felt like home from the minute we stepped in. It was clean and tidy, with all equipment and things we needed. The place is super peaceful. We really loved the personalised welcoming message on the table, it was sweet and made a difference you took the time for this, thank you. :)

Thanks the owner of the house to arrange this house for us. We felt like staying at home. We arrived late at night because we had to drive back to see Northern light in Reykjavik which came at around 9 PM. We found a lovely welcome note with chocolate toffee on the table. How thoughtful of the owner. All six of us had a nice sleep after long journey. The kitchen was very well equipped. Sorry for overheating one pot. In the morning we had no time to say hello to the owner since we had to go to Secret Lagoon on time that we booked.

Absolutely would recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy a private one of kind stay in beautiful surroundings. We felt like we were the only ones there although there were other guests around. The owners are wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The cottage has everything you need and is beautifully designed, it even has a bluetooth speaker for you to enjoy listening to music. Kitchen had all utilities and we were able to cook every meal during our stay. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, had a big shower and even the hand soap and shampoo had a lovely scent. The house has a hammock rocking chair that I loved! Beautiful view, we enjoyed our breakfast while watching the horses from the big window. The northern lights were spectacular! We had a wonderful time, feel so relaxed and energised after staying there. I can’t wait to visit again as soon as possible.

The cabin is very spacious and incredibly clean. Seamless contact with the owner and internet access. Kitchen fully equipped with kitchen appliances, possibility of temperature regulation. Great view, beautiful surroundings for a short or longer trip. The outdoor shower despite the cold nights works great, we will gladly come back at the next opportunity.
