We really liked our stay in this apartment. First of all, the owner of the house is pretty nice and welcoming, the communication was super easy before and after our trip, and he adapted to facilitate our check-in, our check-out, etc. I remember when we arrived how he explained the different parts of the house, turned the heating on, left some coffee for us to have in the morning, explained how the washing machine worked... he did his best for us to be happy and well in his flat. The apartment was quite nice, the beds were comfortable, it was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped (plus oil, salt, kitchen towels, shower gel in the bathroom...), a plus when you are travelling and staying for a few days! The coffee maker was amazing and the capsules he had were very tasty, exactly what we wanted in our stay in Italy. At the end of our stay, he even let us leave our luggage for a few hours after doing the check-out while we waited for our train, so... thanks a lot, Massimo! We will come back :)

We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

    What a lovely apartment with an exceptional host! Emanuela, who lived in the adjacent apartment, was fun to talk to, and very helpful. She was interested in making sure we enjoyed our entire five day stay in the province of Vibo and provided excellent suggestions of places to visit in beautiful Calabria. (In previous summers she has conducted small group guided tours.) The apartment was beautifully decorated in a marine theme and everything had been thought of - the kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable.
