Mako was a great host, and her house is a really special place. It is a hidden gem you would not expect to find next to the local road crossroad. The house is several hundred years old, equipped in traditional style. It has a beautiful garden in Japanese style. The location is perfect for exploring the Fuji area, which is around 30 mins drive.

The property is very well maintained! Kitchen, Oven, toilet are all cleaned. Bed rooms was very cozy, living and dining area was just as cozy. Heater and water heater was very good and the view from the property was spectacular. Quiet and away from the bustling city. Enjoy our stay here and can’t wait to be back.

The whole experience of the stay was wonderful, and cannot be expressed in words. Kind owner, who did everything so we could enjoy our stay (met the owner's mom, they gave us ride from the bus station and back). We had a lovely traditional (clean, beautiful interior) room, free drinks and snacks. We especially liked the kitchen (included all utensils, toaster), it even had charging cables for all kinds of phones. The whole home is very close to a very famous shrine, which is surrounded by a beautiful forest. Our visit was especially special, as when we visited this place, it was lightly rainy and misty, making it feel quite magical. And the next day, we got lucky, as it was a particularly sunny day, allowing us to bike, and hike a nearby small mountain for the best view of the Fuji! Oh yeah, and bikes were freely available at the apartment! Dear Host, thank you so much for all your kindness and welcoming! We loved everything!

The accommodation is just amazing, we absolutely loved this traditional place! Everything was perfect, we were able to sleep in a traditional was, we were provided with some roasted green tea and everything was furnished. Location is great : we're next to some restaurants, McDonalds (no judgment) and 7Eleven. Everything is provided, so we can or prepare something by ourselves, either grab something from a restaurant. We're 10-minutes walk from Fuji-Q Highland and bus station. There is also an exceptional, direct view on Mount Fuji, it was spectacular to see it in the morning, just whaouw. I can only recommend this place, I'd love to return.
