This place is absolutely stunning. With comfortable furniture en incredible views all around the building. The owners and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could for us, from washing our clothes when we came back from trekking to making one of our favorite breakfast: milk rice. You get a big and luxurious room. Although the place is up in the hills, it's just a quick 10 minute tuktuk drive or a nice 25 minute walk down to town. We totally loved it here!

Service: ★★★★★ The staff at Kandy River Lodge provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Special mention goes to the reservation manager, Mr. Sashika, who went above and beyond by offering complimentary transportation to the train station - a thoughtful gesture we weren’t expecting! Overall Experience: ★★★★★ Kandy River Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The serene riverside setting provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior experience was outstanding. Final Thoughts This hotel offers a surprisingly tranquil experience that you wouldn’t anticipate from the outside. The combination of the beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for a memorable stay.     Place was beautiful, comfortable and close to city centre Clean and comfy bedrooms, each room can accomodate 3, and a sofa bed in living room too. Well equipped kitchen with microwave, ricecooker, toaster, everything you need for tea/coffee. Great view from where we stayed. every small detail was well thought of. Our favorite was the small lift for luggages, so you dont have to strain yourself carrying them to 2nd and 3rd floors.
