We had booked the homestay for four nights and it was clearly one of the best places we have ever stayed in Srilanka. The owner Mrs. Maleeka is an EPITOME of kindness and she treated us with so much love and hospitality throughout the stay. She has a full time caretaker who stays within the same house and two adorable and friendly dogs. The owner also stays in the same house and the bedrooms with attached bathrooms are given for private use. However the entire common areas including large living room, dining area, TV lounge are all available for use as well. You can also discuss breakfast options with them. The location is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk which was easily available in the main road, which is barely a few metres away. Good options for restaurants as well. It was the perfect stay, thanks to Mrs. Maleeka and we would highly recommend their homestay for both short as well as long stays!

Well quiet place. Friendly landlord.lot of helpful information. As a srilankan came from uk they offered string hopper and kiribath another day with fresh fruits and juice. Tea was great. My son loves coffee he loves too.Mr.kumara who serve food and room service with pleasant smile and humble. We love it. If we come we come again. Most place we been cheated with commends. This place is great. We wish them the best. Trust me you'll be enjoy. Because I don't want you'll be to disappointed. Speak the truth we traveller's as one. We don't don't each other. We had a lovely time at this homestay. The house is large and spacious with an abundance of room for everyone to have a comfortable stay. Inside the house was really clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like you were at home. The host was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor garden and veranda was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful & quiet. Didn't have time to play but you could play badminton. They even have rackets & net. Highly recommend this place that is located centrally in the heart of Colombo for those who seek quiet comfort with a luxury feel.

Absolutely brilliant. We enjoyed our stay so much throughout the stay. The owner is so helpful and understanding. The property was super clean and spacious. The facilities are super and each room has bathrooms. The balcony has beautiful views of the lotus tower and beautiful buildings. The roof top pool is super we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely stay again.

We discovered Teal Villa online two days before our departure for Sri Lanka and made a last minute decision to change our booking. Sherden made immediate contact and kept in close touch on our very late arrival into Colombo. He was there past midnight to greet us and show us around the property. What a wonderful find this property is. It’s a chance for a group of up to 8 to stay in a charming, beautifully furnished house with creeping bougainvillea, delightful private courtyards, and a lovely wrought iron bannistered-spiral staircase. The house is spacious, bright and clean, and has plenty of seating areas for people to find a quiet corner. Also, there is a billiards table at the top floor. There are air-cons and fans in every room, mosquito nets over the beds and every room has an en-suite bathroom so no need to share. Would come again in a heartbeat. Wonderful hospitality.
