Self Catering Accommodation in Polonnaruwa

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

Spacious villa with kitchen, bathroom, living room and washing machine additional to a spacious bed room. He makes great tours to Pollonaruwas ancient city snd even organizes trips to Minneriya. We recommend staying at Windy villa.

In love with this amazing place and family. You're adorable, you've made us not want to leave. I would like to hove breakfast every day in this lovely place.

We had a great stay here. Our hosts were welcoming, and cooked us a really delicious dinner and breakfast. They also organised bikes and tuktuks for touring the old city. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with working internet and wifi, and the location is great - only 5min from the old city, and a 5min walk to the lake for an epic sunset. Recommend!

I had a great stay. It was excellent value for money, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They were always available to assist with anything I needed, making my stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Very clean and tidy rooms. Spacious rooms. Bathrooms are very clean. The owner was super helpful. They helped us with itinerary and van hiring.

The owner is very friendly. He helped me by arranging a transfer to Sigiriya with an amazing safari. A great experience. The rooms are basic, but the location is perfect if you want to visit the ancient city. I also rented a bike at the guest house and enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast.
